Terms and conditions
Effective from the date of publication.
1. Basic provisions
1.1 These terms and conditions govern the rights and obligations of the seller and the buyer when goods are sold through the online shop www.psfuriel.com, the configurator konfigurator.ps-tile.com, by e-mail or by phone.

1.3 The buyer is either a consumer (a natural person who, when concluding the contract, is not acting in the course of their business) or a business. The provisions on consumer rights, in particular on withdrawal from the contract, apply only to consumers. Contracts with businesses are governed by the Slovak Commercial Code unless the parties agree otherwise.
1.4 Supervisory authority: Slovak Trade Inspection (Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia), Inspectorate for the Žilina Region, Predmestská 71, 011 79 Žilina, Slovakia.
2. Orders and conclusion of the contract
2.1 The price of the goods is shown with each product. The buyer selects the goods, adds them to the cart and fills in their details at checkout.
2.2 Before submitting the order, the buyer is shown the price of the goods, the shipping cost and the total price. The buyer confirms their agreement with these terms and conditions and submits the order with the button “Order with obligation to pay”.
2.3 After receiving the payment, the seller sends the buyer an order confirmation by e-mail. The purchase contract is concluded when this confirmation is delivered.
2.4 For goods made or adapted to measure (for example a cut-out from tiles or products with adjusted dimensions), the buyer must check and confirm the dimensions and technical details. The seller is not liable for defects resulting from incorrect details supplied by the buyer.
2.5 For orders made through the configurator, by e-mail or by phone, the seller sends the buyer an offer with a description of the goods, the price including VAT and the shipping cost. In that case the contract is concluded when the buyer accepts the offer and the seller confirms it.
3. Prices
3.1 Prices are in euros, include VAT and are final. The price of the goods is the same for all countries of the European Union, and only the amount of VAT within it changes, determined by the country of delivery.
3.1a A business registered for VAT in another EU member state pays the price without VAT and accounts for the tax itself (reverse charge) if it buys through a company account approved by the seller, has its company ID, tax ID and VAT ID entered in that account, its VAT ID is valid in the VIES system and the goods are delivered outside Slovakia.
3.2 The shipping cost is shown at checkout before the order is submitted.
4. Payment terms
4.1 The buyer pays by payment card through the Stripe payment gateway, to which they are redirected after submitting the order.
4.1a If payment is not made within 24 hours of submitting the order, the order is cancelled and no purchase contract is concluded.
4.2 For goods made to measure, the seller may require a deposit or payment of the full purchase price before production begins.
4.3 The seller encloses the tax document (invoice) with the shipment.
5. Delivery terms
5.1 We deliver goods by a carrier to the address given by the buyer, in Slovakia and to countries of the European Union.
5.2 The shipping cost of a standard shipment is €5 including VAT in Slovakia and €30 including VAT to other EU countries. For bulky or heavy goods and for shipments outside the EU, the shipping cost is agreed with the buyer individually.
5.3 The seller delivers the goods without undue delay, at the latest within 30 days of the conclusion of the contract.
5.4 On receipt, the buyer must check that the shipment is intact. If the packaging is damaged, we recommend recording the damage with the carrier and contacting the seller without delay.
5.5 Ownership of the goods passes to the buyer upon payment of the full purchase price. The risk of damage to the goods passes to the buyer upon receipt.
6. Withdrawal from the contract (consumers)
6.1 A consumer has the right to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason within 14 days of the day of receiving the goods.
6.2 The consumer gives notice of withdrawal by a clear statement sent by e-mail to shop@ps-tile.com or by letter to the seller's registered office. The model form below may be used. The deadline is met if the consumer sends the notice before it expires.
6.3 The consumer sends the goods back to the seller's registered office at the latest within 14 days of withdrawing from the contract. The consumer bears the direct cost of returning the goods. Please do not send goods cash on delivery.
6.4 The seller refunds all payments received, including delivery costs (up to the cheapest delivery method offered), within 14 days of receiving the notice of withdrawal, using the same means of payment unless agreed otherwise. The seller is not obliged to refund payments before the goods have been delivered back or the consumer has proved that they were sent.
6.5 The consumer is liable for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature and functioning, for example from installing them, gluing them or setting them into tiling.
6.6 A consumer cannot withdraw from a contract for goods made to their specific requirements or intended specifically for them, in particular products made to measure or cut from tiles supplied by the buyer.
7. Liability for defects and complaints
Rights arising from liability for defects and the complaints process are set out in the Complaints procedure.
8. Personal data protection
The processing of buyers' personal data is set out in the Privacy policy.
9. Alternative dispute resolution
If a consumer is not satisfied with the way the seller handled their complaint, or believes that the seller has violated their rights, they may ask the seller for redress by e-mail to shop@ps-tile.com.
If the seller rejects the request or does not reply within 30 days of it being sent, the consumer may file a proposal to start alternative dispute resolution with an alternative dispute resolution body, for example the Slovak Trade Inspection (www.soi.sk). The list of these bodies is published on the website of the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic.
10. Final provisions
10.1 Matters not covered by these terms and conditions are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic, in particular the Civil Code and Act No. 108/2024 Coll. on consumer protection, and for businesses the Commercial Code.
10.2 Deviating arrangements in a contract take precedence over these terms and conditions.
10.3 These terms and conditions take effect on the day of their publication on the seller's website.
10.4 This English text is a translation. The Slovak version takes precedence in case of any discrepancy, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules of the consumer's country.
